This 20 year old partnership is built on trust, shared values, and a commitment to long-term impact. Not only has it supported our mission to inspire and engage young people and families with science but it has also demonstrated Cirrus Logic’s deep commitment to community investment, education and sustainable impact. By blending Cirrus Logic’s technological leadership with Edinburgh Science’s mission to educate, the partnership is empowering young minds and inspiring the next generation of trailblazers.

Since 2006, Cirrus Logic has been a consistent and valued funder of Edinburgh Science’s work, supporting a wide range of programmes including our flagship Generation Science schools tour and our Family Programme at the City Art Centre during the Edinburgh Science Festival. As a charity, we have greatly valued Cirrus Logic’s financial support over the years, but their commitment has gone far beyond funding. Their team has consistently shown genuine enthusiasm for our mission, by volunteering at Careers Hive and attending festival events.

This partnership has evolved with purpose and mutual respect. From its early days under the Wolfson Microelectronics, Cirrus Logic has aligned itself with our values as an educational charity dedicated to increasing access to science and technology. Their support has helped us reach over 100,000 young people and their families, delivering hands-on, confidence-building science experiences that spark curiosity and foster lifelong engagement.

While maintaining our shared vision, Cirrus Logic will continue to support our Family Programme in 2026, helping us deliver high-quality, inclusive science experiences to thousands of families during the 2026 Edinburgh Science Festival.
